R&G engine case sliders fitting ?

Recommended Posts

there should be a little metal spacer that fits on the bolts between the R&G cover and your case, theyre a nightmare to fit to the clutch side unless you've got a center stand as every time you offer the cover up they slide off the screws.i stuck them on with a bit of silicon sealant, makes life a bit easier.as for torque setting, just the same as the standard screws.

i would just undo the 2 bolts and fit , cant see it leaking unless you remove all the bolts and disturb the casing.

I would say the side cover bolts would be between 10-12 Nm. All you need to do is see how much force you need to undo one bolt and then just tighten them up by hand. Once there all the way in and you feel them start to tighten using your ratchet just give it a pinch more and all should be good.

just do them reasonaly tight, if it drips oil its too loose, just dont go too tight as you could sheer the thread.
