Not quite sure now as it won't come on at all. Hoping my old man can get into it to reboot it. But it all started with an upgrade of windows 9.

Windows 9? How can that be? We're still waiting for the release of W8 aren't we? So if you've upgraded to W7 which I guess is what you mean, you're no longer running Vista. Did you run the hardware check before upgrading?

agree IMO the only windows versions that weren't crap were '95 and XP.

dont forget 7 :P

NT = ok
95 = good
98 = crap
98 SE = ok
2000 = ok
ME = crap
xp = good
vista = ultimate crap
7 = good
8 = CRAP!

some sort of pattern with windows lol

Heh I'm not forgetting 7, I have it on a dual boot box at home, but it's too fussy for me, so I usually revert to XP when I *need* a windows program. But absolutely agree that Vista is the worst version that they have ever produced. Awful beyond comprehension Shocked
