Me Dads GL outfit

Looking though some old hard drives came across this picture of me dads old wing.
note the earls forks he bought the bike new from from ken ives Leics and fitted the forks and the chair him self in fact he swapped it for is vincent 1000! I think IT WAS 1979.

look like you dad was just as good with the spanner as you Gaz , i also love the early wing , great bike , mind rear tyre did not last long 1,800 from what i recall ,

that the old GL1000 ( Plain Jane ovc ) or the GL1100? me dad had a 1000 recently with full motad exhaust. Them flat 4 engines had some umpfff to them!
