dark smoky exhaust fumes

i haven't used my bike for a couple of weeks. I started it and left it on idle but i saw darkish fumes coming from the exhaust. They are not chocking but quite noticeable. Any pointers to what the problem could be??

its probably running rich on choke warm it up fully give it some revs or take for a 10 min ride then see if its still smokey . is it using much oil. what condition is the air filter.

Black smoke is un burnt fuel
blue smoke is burnt oil
white smoke is water vapour
if its black it may be as I pointed out above check when hot if you rev it hard expect a little black smoke but not much, at idle it should be clear

Prob overfueling a bit cos it aint been used. Take her out for a god blast and it should be ok.

put a drop of redex in and take it out for a long run
