stantheman 0 Posted December 21, 2014 the wife wanted a cabinet stripped and re done in walnut from light oak so ive done it myself ;sanded the varnish off to bare oak and stained it with vinegar soaked steel wool then varnished it with walnut water based varnish total cost about £8 ;if i hadnt done this the cost would of been about £200 ;god i love it when a plan comes together ;oh a new cabinet would of been about £400 easily ;bloody women on the menopause make your blood boil ; sorry to any women on the menopause on here Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
