Tony nitrous 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Couple of the lads I ride with have them. Some models are notorious for having very poor injection.Even after factory "fix's" they are still very 2nd rate.Other models seem fine.I think the 4's were better than the triples concerning injection systems.Hopefully its improved on the latest ones. Tony nitrous 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Found the clip one of my mates did.... .... another Mate tried the same bike and said it was fun, but....heavy clutch, hard seat and a very sensitive hair-trigger throttle took some of the fun out of it.
madcarper 0 Posted February 15, 2015 nice vid shame he did not get it out of the city, know what he means about the seat its rock hard, they are ride by wire and the bike journo write ups reckon that's sorted now . really you need to take it for a full day to properly test it out. quickshifter on these so you only really need the clutch for stopping and starting.....feck I think I'm talking myself in to one. bladerunner 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Quick shifters are only for changing up the gears you still need to use the clutch to go down unless you like stripping gearboxes down to replace gears.

The throttle is twitchy because.. well its a triple with shit loads of power ( emissions, fbw etc etc come into it as well, plus the BMW's are boring to ride ), two things you get used to when owning a cable clutch and a triple though.I still think quick-shifters are a waste of time for road use and frankly should only be fitted to race/track bikes.
