When you think you have figured out all the correct words, PM the answers to Smorkle. All members with correct answers will be placed in a pot. A winner will be drawn on November 13th. For one member, Friday the 13th will be their lucky day! Prize: Any one item from the cc Store OR any one TWS item of the winner's choice! Rules: • PM your answers to smorkle • All entries must be received by Thursday, November 12th Midnight (GMT) • You must be an active member of the group to take part in any of the Competitions or giveaways. An active member is classed as a member who has a minimum of 20 posts, not including ‘bumping’, thank you or welcome threads, with no less than average 1 post per day (so if a member has posted 25 post count but an average post count of 0.5 then that member is not classed as active). Across 1. An amusement, pastime, sport, contest or competition. GAME 4. Vehicle usually drawn by either horses or dogs (or reindeer) over ice or snow in winter. SLEIGH 7. A sweet, baked, breadlike food, made with or without shortening, and usually containing flour, sugar, baking powder or soda, eggs, and liquid flavoring. CAKE 9. An outdoor fire used for cooking or warmth OR can be used to sit around to tell scary stories. CAMPFIRE 10. The time of the day when the sun is just below the horizon, especially the period between sunset and dark. TWILIGHT 11. The part of the shore of an ocean, sea, large river, lake, etc., washed by the tide or waves. BEACH 12. A contest of speed, as in running, riding, driving, or sailing. RACE Down 2. The work of keeping something in proper condition; upkeep. MAINTENANCE 3. A piece of hard candy attached to the end of a small stick that is held in the hand while the candy is licked. LOLLYPOP 5. A preternatural being, commonly believed to be a reanimated corpse, that is said to suck the blood of sleeping persons at night. VAMPIRE 6. A large mammal belonging to the Rangifer tarandus genus. Of the Arctic and northern regions of Eurasia and North America, having branched antlers in both sexes. Santa also uses one to guide his sleigh. REINDEER 8. If there is a * next to your name, that means all your answers were correct.
