Tolos2009 0 Posted September 25, 2008 Hi Everyone, I jus wanted continued prayer for my son who is 13. He was robbed yesterday at gunpoint by unmasked man. He and his cousin were returning home from doing an errand and a man approached him and asked for his phone and my son at first responded no but the man pulled out a gun and pointed at his stomach and my son turned the phone over. Than the man turned to his cousin and asked him to empty out his pockets and took his money and walked away. All of this happened in broad daylight and the children were concerned that nobody stepped in and helped them. We praise God that neither of them was hurt and that both are still alive. They were able to identify the man and he fit the description of a known felon in that area who had been committing the crimes. However, it will prolly produce a investigation and possible trial when the individual is apprehended. I say when because this man needs to be off the street and with the help of prayer this can be accomplished. Ironically but not coincidentally, the man that robbed them was seen by them a week to the time that this occurred. So he may have been checking them out at that time but never the less, he needs to be caught before he harms another person. Please pray that both of these children will not be traumatized by this event and that they will continue to strive on. Both are having nightmares but both are grateful to God for being alive. As the mother of the 13 year old, I am still in shock. I am mad but extremely greatful to God. As I remind myself that there are principalities in high places. I even have been praying for this young man that he would find Jesus. God has given me peace but just as I was giving my son some independency, I am finding that now i want to take it back. I need wisdom and discernment of God that he help and assist me and guide me with my son.
Dove-Solutions 0 Posted September 25, 2008 Father in the name of Jesus we come against the enemy right now and bind his power and render him mute and unconscious and command it to the feet of Jesus. Thank you Lord for your divine protection over these young men. Lord I thank you that you prevent these perpetrators from doing further harm to anyone. Lord in the days ahead I pray that you would give your peace to Mom (Tools2009) about this situation. Father I pray that you erase this memory from the little children Lord to protect them even in their dreams. Father thank you so much and we give you all the glory and the praise! your servant, Connie
