nubava 0 Posted October 11, 2010 You know the following scripture brings comfort to me every time I encounter with similar situations.Ephesians 6:12 (Amplified Bible)" 12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere."I believe when we start seeing things through such eyes everything turns around and it is easier to forgive and to love.I heard this phrase which I LOVED - "Love like you have never been hurt!"Pray this helps
mrswilliams 0 Posted October 11, 2010 Yes Father!!!Nubava Perfect scripture! and justblueskies...Interceding for your Inlaws is what the enemy does not want you to do so keep praying and blessing them and standing in the gap for them. Start Binding those evil spirits and loosing the Fruit of the spirit in your family.
Cholette 0 Posted October 11, 2010 I agree...just pray. We don't ALWAYS have to respond, especially when we know what's behind it.God brought Joseph Prince in my life 3-4 years ago. God has changed my life through his teachings. I agree with what he said...we need to see them the way Jesus sees them. I always say this, to myself..."if they knew better, they would do better". We can say that about ourselves. There were times when we didn't do what we should have, but when we learned and matured, we don't travel down that road anymore. newleaf 0 Posted October 12, 2010 Thanks for your repliesI prayed for her on the way home tonightThis was the third straw so to speak She has become angry at me not selecting the name she insisted upon for my babynot living where she wanted us to liveand now outright lying about me I told God that if it were simply a misunderstanding I would apologize and try to find out what her issue with me is but there are people who like to stir up strife and any involvement with them ends up in strife so I am just stepping back Cholette I really like Joseph Prince's spirit -so down to earth I have read his dads booksI was just thinking what you said when I had my first baby-I had no idea about nutrition/different styles of parenting. I was naive-now I am confident in my parenting Praise God!
