Classic Connection Problems.

Ok, so here's the situation. For some reason I cannot connect to classic.
Why? I don't know. But here is the message that comes up.
'You failed to connect to the server. Its probably down!' This normally occurs when the server is down or when your internet Isn't turned on. Which I know for sure classic is up and my internet is fine. (WOM)
I also get the same message in minecraft.net but before the message pops up I see a different message: 'An error occurred while loading the applet. Please contact support to resolve this issue. Fatal error occurred (1): missing required applet parameter: al_main


If this has something to do with my PC, specs are listed below.
Processor: Intel Core Duo Processor T2300 1.66 GHz
Memory (RAM): 1 GB
HDD: 100 GB
WLAN: 800.11a b/g
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 with TurboCache supporting 256 MB
OS: Windows XP Media Center Edition

i try to connect with wom, but the point is that i get this message everytime:"Connection lost; could not verify player name"

do i just have to fix the url i am using to connect vio wom or is it some other prob ...

would be thnkful for every help

When that happens, log into the minecraft.net AITM then open and log into wom. That works for me.

yeh this happens to me, just go to minecraft.net and login to aitm and then exit from it and then login with your WOM

Still cant connect. Get message saying server is down. Reinstalled java and all that crap. So yeah. WOM and minecraft.net aren't working.
