Wish, I wonder if you should re-phrase that!

(at this point a Mod appears and tells us to wash our mouths out Laughing)

It is funny though, I have a friend who takes to her bed and salivates when Lakeland release a new catalogue, and actually Chris Evans was tweeting successively about Lakeland items at the weekend!

(for Amy, Chris Evans is a radio and tv presenter and Lakeland stocks kitchen items)

You too Wish, glad we had a laugh.

OH is ringing his late father's widow (not sure what else to call her, grrr...it's not easy)

I'm also cooking the evening meal - but it's easy tonight, so can stay a while yet.

Most people find it disgusting but I actually like instant mash potato, think it was the Smash advert, years ago that did it

Like Wish I have bought lots of cheap clothes while I have been losing weight, Tesco petite range is fantastic when you are only 5 foot tall

We were in our local Asda the other day and they had size 4 jeans, they looked as if they should have been in the children's dept they were that tiny. I sent Chris an email earlier, I bet she is in a right state about the cat, She is crazy about animals

Well yes Marie, you never know...we also had The Doger, a year last April..so you have to remember that just as there are no-goods in life, there are still some who go out of their way to do a good turn, whether to people or to animals.

Fingers crossed.

well no, but if there wasn't anything to do, it wouldn't be a job really, would it?

you definitely need enough to keep the wolf from the door, at least unless you find something else.

BTW Bee, I haven't told this to anyone else, but today would have been my father's birthday, so I'm empathising again with how you feel about your mother.

seems so, mine hasn't, but Frannie's did, even though it was on a table, or shelf!

Gill I really feel for you, it is the anniversary of my dad's death this week and also would have been mum's birthday the next day. Dad dies the day before mum's 49th birthday. So quite a upsetting week although our youngest grandaughter is 1 on Saturday so a bit of a mixed week.

Life is all mixed isn't it, the ups and downs, and the thing is, it can turn on a sixpence really - you just never know.

What you do know, is that we all soldier on anyway.

I try and dwell on all the happy memories of my Dad, because above all, I know for sure that's what he wants
- that's what we'd all want for our loved ones, isn't it

Memories do certainly keep us going, my only regret is they never saw my 2 boys growing up. But I know they would be proud of them.

On a lighter note do you like the new PS items this week

I'm finding it hard to keep track to be honest, of what's what, viz a viz the shop items, the MB items and those cc mystery boxes maybe?

Not convinced the new items are as good as last year's, then again, it was all so much more simple then *reminisces*

There seems to be more and more new items each week and is as you say very confusing. I wasnt playing PS last Valentine's so dont know how they compare, but there will probably be more items next week, like there was at Halloween & Christmas. I have bought some things but havent put them out yet. Emma was supposed to be visiting today and she likes to do it. She will love all the pink!!

Everything does seem to be very expensive, a whole set of the TWS used to be only about 5000 coins, so much more now

Hi, Bye and OK then Tan Tan - keeeeep cleaning! (can I come?)

Emma will love it Marie.

I agree prices are so high now, but earnings are much more easily come by than back then.

I played this time last year, had so few friends I couldn't really afford much at all and surely didn't realise about the value, or potential value, of TWS things.

No I didnt realise the significiance of TWS until I came to C&G, I bet last year's Valentine items are trading for really high prices now
