Off the phone already

BF just called, mentioning he had to take the train. His thesis mentor left him in another town while he was able to drive along with him this morning. It's going to take a while for him to get home (his mentor just told him: I'm going home, here's my train card and he was gone)

A snow cone is crushed ice with like... fruit flavoured liquid poured over it that you eat with a spoon:



its something eaten when its hot out.... usually like at fairs or something.

Yeah BF wasn't happy about it. When I asked him if the guy was maybe smiling or joking - he wasn't! It's going to take him 2 hours to get home (and probably his mentor left early because he hates traffic jams... BF told me he had only a half an hour work to be done when his mentor left, so he could have waited)

Hopefully if we buy this Everhot range, we can save some on oil, as I tend to be mainly in the kitchen I could hopefully rely on that during the long winter days - mind you, this year has been particularly cold.

We ran out of oil already! Now have the electric oven on and two small heaters
plus the electric underfloor heating in the cloakroom and the new (unfinished!) bathroom.

We're having curry tonight rofl, so hopefully a bit more heat from that too!
