  1. This was always going to happen because the health fascists have done for smoking so they need something else to focus on. The reality is the EU have said a minimum price per unit of alcohol will be illegal so it's a non starter in this guise. What will really happen is the tax or duty on alcohol will be rapidly increased instead so the effect will be the same, we all pay more. After that watch out for all the "nice" food, anything with a fat/sugar/salt content that the so called experts decide is too much. It is all supposed to be for our own good, as the title says-B******S!!!! Whatever happened to personal choice? Big brother has well and truly taken over.
  2. Not a good way to impress the new german bosses. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/08/24/ducati-issues-five-recalls-for-1199-panigale/
  3. This was the mountain road this morning. Practising for the MGP starts tomorrow. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.408963649159790.91397.175266482529509&type=3&l=169e505116
  4. Is this the Carl "the older I get the faster I was" Fogarty who was often left behind by Steve Hislop etc?
  5. Here's the latest, It's my own stupid fault as the coat itself is NOT waterproof it needs the waterproof lining fitted to stop me getting wet. The coat on its own does have a lining that is not waterproof in its own right. How I had it is purely for summer(this is Britain) and is not designed to be waterproof. Had I known that it is unlikely that I would have bought it. Ah well we live and learn.
  6. I can honestly say it is rubbish. I wore last Friday(very wet I know) for the first time and within 10 minutes it was leaking!!! By the time I arrived at my destination(130 miles) I had changed my t-shirt twice and was still absolutely dripping wet to the point that I was wringing out my shirts to remove the excess water. I'm off to see about it now and will post the results of my friendly chat at the shop. http://www.frank-thomas.co.uk/index.php/ftw348-xti-2-aquatec-jacket-black.html
