I can relate! I like to go to a nice restaurant and read or do paperwork while the waitress refills my drink. It's a luxury that I need to cut way donw on to save money too. I also need to lose weight to be more healthy. Dear Lord, I pray in agreement with lovetoworshipJesus that the Holy Spirit will help her learn to eat healthy and resist the temptation of eating out too often or eating unhealthy foods or amount of foods. I pray for her to gain strength in her discipline regarding food and spending. God, I ask these same blessings for myself since I also am tempted by the same things she mentioned. Thank You Lord, that You care about us and that Your Spirit can strengthen us. Thank You Lord, that You gave us bodies that can recover from being overweight. I ask these things in Jesus' holy name, amen.

It sounds like now isn't the time for a new cat. Maybe later. But the last look in your friend's eyes was probably trust and you did live up to that trust by helping relieve the pain. Dear God please impart peace for Dreamster. I pray in Jesus' holy and loved name, amen.

Father God, I pray for Your provision for Dreamster. I ask You to place him in a job that grants him freedom to speak about You, where he can shine Your light, and that will enable him to grow spiritually. I ask that this new job be a secure one, that he will have favor with his new boss, and he will be doing work that is meaningful to him and allows for his creativity, and work he's good at doing. I ask that this work would bless him financially even more than he expects so he can use it to bless others. I pray Your will be done for Dreamster. I pray these things in Jesus holy name, amen.

Dear God, please bless veryartsy one with visions to paint which will draw others to You. I pray this in Jesus' holy name, amen.

Veryartsyone, I painted one of the visions God showed me. I had just closed my eyes to sleep when I was shown an image. Excited that it was from God, I immediately started asking God questions. He answered some, but not all of the questions. He said, "Hey, my children are starving." Then He told me something very bizarre sounding - "A million dollars didn't crash the meat to the ground." I prayed for understanding, but didn't get it. So I painted it, showed it after worship, and asked people to pray for understanding. The bizarre statement meant this: The meat crashing to the ground was a reference to the quail God provided after the manna. No amount of money (or the work of our hands) provided for His people; God provides for His people! This is reassuring in today's economic situation. Painting it gave me a visual record of the vision, let other see what I was shown, and helped us receive God's message from it because others prayed and God explained it to them instead of to me. I'm glad to hear that you will be painting the things God shows you. It blesses the Body of Christ and can bless you too with an increased understanding which God might reveal through others. - Jodi

Dear God, I pray in agreement with Tolos that You will grant her daughter protection, wisdom, discernment, and revelaton about her relationship with her boyfriend. Guide her in regards to this relationship. If You have someone else for her, then please comfort, strengthen, and protect her as she leaves this relationship. But if You approve of this man for her, then show her that it will be OK and help her stand up to whatever attacks are coming at her. Cause all attempts to manipulate her feelings to fail. I pray for Tolos' daughter in Jesus' holy name, amen.

Tolos, The Bible says that there are rules for when it's permissible to divorce and adultery is the reason for divorce. This scripture was written so that men could write a decree of divorce to a woman who committed adultery. It doesn't say that women can, but that was when women had next to no rights at all. Dreamster, I'm sorry about your loss. I prayed for God to give you a peace about it and that He'd comfort you. In your dreams I noticed that you keep having to put the cat down. Did you have to do this IRL? If so, I'm sure you decided to do this for his/her benefit - to spare pain. If you're feeling guilty, please realize that you opted to relieve your friend's pain. IRL (many years ago) my grandpa was dying and was in pain. The nurse asked us if we wanted him to be given morphine, knowing that it would relieve the pain but that it would shorten his life. We let him have the morphine because he was dying with or without it and at least this way he would not be in pain. It was hard on the aunt who gave the answer to the nurse because she felt guilty at first until we talked about it. Sometimes a new pet can give you a new relationship to cherish - not to forget your cat, but to allow yourself to love on & be loved by a new cat while always remembering your best friend. I also know that sometimes people don't want to get attached to a new pet, so it's just something to consider.

When I first came to this site, I didn't post. I just read others' posts and people's responses. What I saw was a faith community that interacts with true compassion for one another. I did not see rudeness, a religious spirit, or weird theology, which led me to trust you all enough to open up and share my dreams and visions for interpretation. If someone occassionally words something so that it sounds unfriendly, it's possible they didn't mean it that way and it just came out wrong. Dina, you said, "I recently learned the breaking and crushing process for prophets is different than for other people." What do you mean? In what ways is it different? I'm interested in learning more about this. Thanks. - Jodi

Here's an update on my husband: Paul had the surgery and it went fine. He was able to have dialysis today and eat supper afterwards. He slept a lot, which is to be expected. His blood sugars are still high even though he hasn't eaten much (few bites of each thing for supper). The nurse said she would give him a little insulin and watch him closely. She also said she would lift me up in her prayers and Paul too. I need to ask her name again. She's really nice. Praise God for sustaining Paul yet again. He might get to go back to the VA nursing home tomorrow if his sugars are normal. I still pray for his healing in submission to God's timing and His purposes. Thanks for your prayers. It's only 9:00 and I'm already tired - I usually read until 11:00. I might just fall asleep right away tonight. Love, Jodi

I pray in Jesus' name for Paul to encounter God in a personal way (maybe through a vision, dream, visitation, or however else God might want to do it) so that He can know how much he is loved by God and know God is with him. Please pray for my husband to open up to the Lord's love. He believes there's a God but that He's far away and doen't really care about us. My husband is seriously ill and was near death this past Thursday and Friday. He had a staff infection in the blood, double pneumonia with a high fever, unstable blood sugars, unstable blood pressures, and low oxygen. Now his temperature is normal, his oxygen level is good, but his blood sugars are not stable and I don't think the infection is gone. This is in addition to his already weakened condition due to diabetes and kidney failure. He had a transplant but it failed and he is not a candidate for a new kidney. He still has to take the anti-rejection medicine which takes away his immune system so that it doesn't fight the foreign kidney. So he's trying to fight the infection without any immune system. Thank God he is still alive, even though he is still not well. Mostly I want him to turn to God soon because he doen't look like he has much time left. Unless God does a miracle healing! It's a miracle that Paul is alive today because he's been through so much. But his quality of life is very poor now and his body can't take much more going wrong. Yet today his blood sugar bottomed out (went too low) this morning and when they tried to do dialysis, his shunt (place where they hook him up to the machine to cleanse his blood) wouldn't work. So now I think they will do a surgery to fix the shunt. People die without dialysis, so the shunt needs to be fixed. He needs a relationship with God and, if God is willing, he needs a miracle healing. Thanks to all who pray. It has been prophesied that Paul and I will have a "complete turn-around." I don't know if this was from God, but when I pray I remind God I heard it said and I ask for it if it really is His will. Love, Jodi

Lord Jesus, please give Newrapture a sense of peace and bring her daughter home safely. Protect her daughter from all harm and lead her home to her Mom. Most of all God, draw her near to You. Guide her to contact her Mom to let her know she is all right. I pray this in Jesus' holy and loved name. Amen. -
