I dreamt that I had a huge gastric and vomiting attack, and I was in my old house in Sydney that I lived in up until 1992. There was a broken sink – all rusty and destroyed, and the old drain was blocked with clay and rubble. I tried to dig the rubble out with a stick.

I was then given the passage Ezekiel 29 (which talks about Egypt refusing to help Israel – being like a broken stick, and God’s judgment on Egypt and the return of the exiles from Babylonia)

I was reading the following passage in my daily devotions this week from Leviticus 8:24

"He also had Aaron's sons come near; and Moses put some of the blood on the lobe of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot. Moses then sprinkled the rest of the blood around on the altar."

Don't know whether this connects with the man's ear being pinched?

Thanks for your responses. The South African men were white but I don't think they were wearing uniforms - more like militia (Boer War troops?). Can't see any connection there, sorry.

If the dream represented two churches, I'm unaware of this. Some of our church split away and went to another church around 4 years ago.

The other church that I attended some 16 years ago has no connection with my current one - they are in two different cities (around 200 miles apart).

It looks like the battle is in the spiritual dimension, rather than in human interaction.

The two passages I've been given previously in dreams - Numbers Ch 23 and Isa 62 seem to indicate that the Lord will keep his promises and is about to bless our church.

My church is under spiritual attack, and my current one and former one in Sydney have had big splits.

Fortunately I haven't been involved in any of these conflicts directly for some years

My current Pastor has been working on restoration and forgiveness for the past year or so.

I dreamt that I was in one of two groups from South Africa back some years ago. My group was at war with the other. The other group had a wagon, and we were tracking them. Their wagon broke down and their bullocks had died and they turned around and my group ambushed them. Each side were throwing spears at one another, and some had guns.

I recognised that two of the younger women were G****s from my former church in Sydney. I speared one of them near their left shoulder. Her sister was carried a child, but had no weapons and was caught in a crossfire.

I was given the passage Matthew 18 (which is about finding the lost and forgiveness)

By way of background, my pastor preached on turning the other cheek on Sunday evening.

I was since given the passage Isaiah Ch 62, which I believe also confirms God is blessing my ministries. Vs 8-9 say:

The LORD has given his word and made this promise: "Never again will I give to your enemies the grain and grapes for which you struggled. As surely as you harvest your grain and grapes, you will eat your bread with thankful hearts, and you will drink your wine in my temple."

Today my Pastor also said that he thought the family represented my church family, rather than my blood relatives.

The prison position will be working on a government contract.

I dreamt that I was living with the W**** family from our church. They were doing some travelling, and I was helping them sort out clothing in boxes.

I was concerned about K**** W**** doing driving and meal preparations, as I thought she was doing too much.

Background: K**** has taken on a number of roles in our church recently.

The embarrassing thing is that most of my siblings are professing Christians, in the clergy or married to Ministers!

The tough times for me are around Christmas, as it reminds me that we haven't resolved our differences.

I have made some attempts over the years to resolve the differences between my siblings and I, and it has usually backfired on me, but I'll take your suggestions onboard.

Don't know how the dream got posted twice, but thanks for pointing that out.

I dreamt that I attended a family gathering something like a wedding. The other family members arranged another get together for a meal and I wasn’t invited

In the next part of the dream I was woken from sleep at 8.10pm by my work boss and asked to sort out an overheating problem on something that could have been squash courts or prison cells. I tried to turn on the fans but they were already on. I was wearing a warm jacket even though it was hot.

I then went down to a club restaurant to have a meal with my wife, and I was frustrated or depressed because of the above two situations.

By way of background I have a long standing alienation from my siblings, I play squash, and I am about to start work in a prison

I did read Numbers 23 at the time. I felt it was saying that in spite of the spiritual warfare & conflict, that God had promised to bless the church and would keep this promise

This is a dream I had some months ago, but it would be good to get some more opinions on it's meaning.

I was in the pews of a church I attended some years ago. I turned around and I saw the wife of the former church Secretary. She was standing at the back of the worship area and called out "Numbers 23" three times.

Soon after I was given the words pronounced "numbah durram, East Africa"

By way of background, a couple of months later we had a visit from two men from a Ugandan Bible College (in East Africa).

I had one interpretation of this dream given to me that my church was undergoing spiritual warfare (we've had two of people die of cancer and a baby stillborn in the church over the past two years), and to have courage in the face of this attack.

Hope someone can give me some clarity on this one

The last dream I had was a verse - Numbers 23, which I took to be the same meaning as you gave about spiritual warfare

I dreamt that I was walking through what looked like an open plaza, but it was in Melbourne. Everyone else was wearing unusual clothing. I then spoke to a former pastor from our church, and said that everyone was telling me that I was wearing the wrong clothing.

I think it means that I had taken on a wrong job or role

The next phase was that I was driving a car in a car park, trying to reverse and get out of the park, but I was trapped by a surrounding fence.

I think this means that I’m trapped somehow.

Some background:I have recently withdrawn my nomination from a role as church secretary, and am about to start a new paid work position, working in a prison doing admin support for a vocational training provider. My new boss in this job suggested I divest myself from outside activities as part of a personal health management strategy
