Can the devil speak to us through dreams and make us believe its from god? ive been praying about a particular thing and ive been getting comforting dreams about it for about 2 months now, ive asked god to speak to me through the bible and ive turned to scripture thats relevant to what im praying about, can the devil speak through the bible? i guess im just scared of getting my hopes up and being let down, what if its the devil trying to deceive me? maybe i should trust in god more. -

I sometimes dream of my dogs that have died, in my dreams they are healthy and well again, maybe god is trying to tell me something I'm not sure, but its a nice thought knowing one day you'd get to see them again

I'm a massive animal lover, I've always thought weather animals go to heaven or not? I've had many pets in my time, it would be a great comfort knowing they are with the lord and I'd get to see them again one day.

I had been having recurring dreams that my grandad had died and my nan was left on her own, then 8 months later my grandad actually died!
at the time i had fallen away from god, my grandad i believe was a non believer. I've had other dreams in the past that have came true but little things that aren't really relevant to my life, my neighbours garden had lots of rubbish in it, i dreamt that all the rubbish had been moved and her garden was tidy again, after a couple of days that dream came true 
do you think these dreams are from god? would god still give you dreams even though you've fallen away? why would god give me a dream about my grandads death there was nothing i could of done to prevent it.

thanks again to everyone for your help and advice its much appreciated. one of my prayers are to have more patience when my children, i have 2 boys aged 5 and 7, I'm a single mom with hardly any support off my family, i get really stressed and anxious alot of the time and find it hard to cope on my own, i feel this is stopping me from enjoying my children, all i seem to do is shout at them. if god could just give me the patience to deal with them I'd be a lot better. ive being praying for about 12 months now. -

thanks everyone for replying. Its just sometimes i get frustrated when i pray and nothing happens, sometimes i get angry with god that he doesn't answer my prayers, i know i shouldn't and i always say sorry to him after my outburst

hello everyone. How do we know when to stop praying for something? if it isn't gods will for us to have it how do we know when to stop praying for it? we could be praying forever and not get what we prayed for. -
