  1. so it looks like a trip from one coast to the other with few stops in between
  2. So I guess it would be Seatle, Chicago, Ohio and then Florida of the other way round.
  3. found it - it's about 2 states away from Ohio
  4. Now I need to try to locate Chicago. Lots of travelling!
  5. OK penny dropped now - Seattle. Twilight movies.
  6. I don't really know - these are people I have spoken to and they all said that I should visit. OK now I'm going to sound a bit thick but it's been more than 15 years since I had geography at school and now I'm looking at map to note that Seattle is other side of US to Florida and Ohio.
  7. I wonder how much time I would need need? If/When I come to US I want to see few people at few different places (you and Tanya, Frannie in Ohio, Mary in Seattle and Lenka in Chicago). I was thinking maybe 2-3 days with everyone (not sure how the travelling between people will be yet) - it's still way to early in planning stage.
  8. it must come with Y choromosome and I think they are getting special lessons since they are born - no other explanation for that! I will be eagerly awaiting to hear about it and see pics - how long are they staying?
  9. I can't wait for you to see it guys so we can talk about it!
  10. went to a cinema on friday (of should I say saturday as it was 00.01 showing) - seen Eclipse and loved it. Had huge argument with ex on sunday but I'm not losing my sleep over it. If he wants to behave like an (now what's the polite way to say this - it involves once's backside) that is his choice and he will have to deal with the consequences later. I think that comes with Y chromosome. He was like nothing happend when I spoke to him this morning. Is BG and her sister coming this weekend?
  11. Hi Kijo how's your weekend been?
  12. Good Morning Marie nothing exciting on cards for me how about you?
  13. I have taken a plunge and went to screening of Eclipse last night (or should I say early this morning). It was screening at 00.01 on Saturday 3 July 2010. Don't worry I'm not going to talk about the movie itself so I won't spoil it for anyone. I want to share the experince in the cinema. The movie was shownat 3 screens and one of them was sold out by 9pm. The screen I went to was abou 1/3 full. I have to say I was bit worried about what the experince is going to be like - opting for midning screening wanting to avoid screeming teenagers but before the film and during trailes there was lots of talking. Lots of people who were there with me just finished in pubs/clubs. Then the place went pitch black! The movie has started and the whole place went silent. It was amazing like we were all connected, all on the same wavelenght - no-one spoke during the film, we all laughed at same places, all gaspded at the same times and the most amazing thing happend at the very end of the movie - people stated to clap. I was sitting there during the credits and I had tears in my eyes. The the spell was broken as people got up and left and we all went our separate ways. I had to take the night bus home as it ended at 2.20 am (the bus takes about 75minutes) but it was so worth it. I would like to hear your experience, read about the people who were with you - their reaction. Did your local cinema do something special? But please remember - don't talk about the movie itself. There are lots of people who did not see it yet so don't ruin it for them. Thank you
  14. the premiere in London is tonight from 5pm and previews are Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th.
  15. 1048 Smorkle should have counted 1044 and Falcor 1046 as we count in two's here
  16. Looks like I missed everyone again - was busy at work before and just got home from SW (finally losing again - three small losses in a row now) Hope everyone's doing well
  17. yes I did! It was nice being out and having a good time - don't remember last time I done that. Some of the people I met I want to stay in touch (the ones close to my age).
  18. but it will be worth it - meeting on-line friends in RL is very exciting! I've met some on-line friends on saturday (from Elephant parade group) and we had great time (that's when I burned my arms as I stayed out way longer than I expected so I didn't have sun cream with me to re-apply). We met up at 11am and eventually we ended up as group of 6 going to a pub at 8pm - leaving for home about 9.30pm.
  19. the thing is here in UK - you don't have ID cards. You can use driving licence or passport (if you have one) to prove your age but if you don't drive then you will be forced to carry passport with you.
  20. that's just rediculous - unless they though you will use it as a weapon
