I always try to go to the man, but sometimes it's unavoidable and I have to see the lady. I am glad you have good veins, I wouldn't wish this to anyone But we try to make it 'positive' over here, they always talk me through the entire procedure and we try to have a little laugh with it. I once had the accident of my vein opening again... Now that's awful! I am glad that they are aware of the problem and try to work with you ... make sure that you have your system well hydrated when you go. That is the only time they have had trouble with my veins .... once I had no liquids for like .. 36 hours .. and they couldn't stick me ... had to get the ICU nurse to do it ... I try to give fairly regularly ... I get time off work to go... I usually have no problems.. Are you staying warm??

To know that I have to do this every 3 months, doesn't make me get used to it. My arm always turns out a bit black & blue (but when I go see his wife, she's DR too, and she draws my blood, it's much worse, then I can hardly use my arm) owwwieee..... Are your veins that bad?? Is there someone else in the office that can try?? My dad had leukemia and had to have lots of blood work done, and when he went, he would only let certain people do his draws ..
