  2. Hee Hee - squirrels are hilarious. Pip hates them with a passion and is always on squirrel alert. Same with pigeons ! Gosh the weather has really turned awful here. Golf in the rain is not that much fun. I have waterproofs but they are miles too big for me now LOL I will look like the Michelin man Must go and get ready. So lovely to be able to chat. Have a fab day Gill - thanks for everything and give my love to everyone else. Hope to see you soon xoxoxoxo
  3. LMAO at your grass - ours is the same. We don't have rabbits - thankfully as I can only imagine the dogs.... Yikes - it;s pouring with rain here now :-( Aww no! I think the workload will be like this for most of the summer - I need to make the most of it anyway as it's a great opportunity and the company is really good! I;m just gonna suck it up LOL
  4. Good news about the decorator !! I stayed up til about 12.40am for the election, but had to go to bed at 9pm last night to catch up. On the project front I have 2 projects in Edinburgh and a large project in Suffolk, so basically my week goes: Monday start 4am, finish 8.30pm Tuesday start 6am, finish whenever I get home- 9pm Wednesday go to the local office and catch up with paperwork Thursday start 4am for Edinburgh early flight, back 9pm Friday go the local office for project meetings In the meantime there are conf calls randomly and the CAB work in the evenings I too look like hell LOL and so does the garden :-( Looking forward to the golf course, so I can switch off a bit
  5. Oooh Asparagus - my favourite!! It's dry and not windy here so should be ok for golf. Thanks again for the TWS. I will try to get time to check the list, but I think that I have most things I need

  16. Hi and Bye BG....I won't be around this week, so have a good one and see you next weekend !
  17. Yes our wedding weekend as pretty much like this too - although it was a bit colder as it was September and in Scotland ! No gardening today for me, but the sun is trying to come out now at least. Not sure what to do with myself today - ironing looks favourite :-(
  18. I was going to garden today but it's still drizzling here - a really fine mist of rain - yuck I need a duvet day today - up at 4am tomorrow - Suffolk Monday Tuesday, Scotland Wednesday, meetings Thursday. Parents arrive Friday for Bank Holiday weekend - mum's birthday also ! I'm still so full from our meal out last night I couldn't face breakfast just yet. Roasting a piece of beef for lunch though :-) Have a good day gardening
  19. Posting Hideeni - found him at your house LOL
  20. Thanks Gill - I'm pretty sure I have everything I need from this week - I just ran around and did a mad TWS grab this morning. I'm ok for coins, but have only done about 50 visits all week and it will be the same next week. If you could keep a couple of the ££ items for me next week - that would be a great help - thanks! Managed to get Hideenie - YAY thank you That CDWM lot sound just as bizarre as the normal crowd. Edwina Currie ...I want to like her, I'd like to be able to admire her...but she persistantly makes an @$$ of herself on TV LOL
  21. I think I may be ok for this weeks stuff Gill - next week will be more difficult I think. Oooh - looking forward to seeing the "political" article on CDWM. No sign of sun here
  22. Hi Gill and Leo ...anyone else here ? Ooh Gill - it's your anniversary weekend right ? Your day in London sounds wonderful and what great weather for it too! We spent yesterday clearing out our spare room - it looks much better now. It's raining here ...a light drizzle.
  23. OMG - the real Angel of the North ?? Wow - must google that later! Gill / BG - I have to get dinner and then I must sleep. If I don't manage to get back have a FAB weekend - it's going to be 21 here too BG ! Hoorah See you end of next week if I don't make it back ! MWAH / HUGS etc, etc Say HI to Armell for me if you run into her !
  24. BTW - I'm so happy to be back in my little zone - here with you two, just before dinner. I've really missed it
  25. LOL - thanks BG - it's true then, the BBQ transcends all other cultural differences (apart from the salad). I noticed in OZ that the protein is WAY more important than the carbs - my OH is the same - a plate of meat keeps him happy. I prefer a mixture of protein, carbs and good stuff ............I'm not a huge fan of eating outside, but I do love the social side of it all and the relaxing, lively element !
