wow mr. py u got very good eyes... can spot the different... i thought just leave it... im not really a good customized like mr. danoneism... fabricating bumpers and spoilers... im just swap wheel, spray different colour kinda customized... me i think im just/still beginner level...

to answer mr. danoneism, mr. jhc7598 & mr. cham, the dye technique is very simple & easy & im also still new to this technique... to get the best result on this technique used light colored cars... the end result will not be the exact of the dye... it may varie... 1 advised given to me is that silver coloured cars are 1 of the best cars to use to dye... u can use any other colour cars too no problem... its all experimental and trial & error first buy the dye... here in the photo u can see im using DYLON dye... it cost about RM5 -RM6 ask for "dye kain"... few shops selling it... like book shops, tailoring shops & maybe art shops... then put the dye in a hot water and mix it until the hot water change colour, u can use any unwanted cup or bowl or maybe tin susu or tin coke ke... up to you and wash it until clean before using... Note: Dont use HOT BOILING WATER , if the water is too hot the wind screen of car might melt... next dip the car in the hot dye water... leave it for few second and remove it... repeat this step for few time or until u get or u are happy with the colour of the car... next wash the car with running water... finally clean up after u r done... Good luck in trying it... and hope you guys show me the photo of the final result after u tried this technique...

get the purple semi-fast...

to remove tempo u can use nail polish remover... dip it on a tissue and then wipe it slowly on the area that got tempo that u want to remove... if u can cover the area like the wind screen and the wheels... try on cars that u dont want anymore... test fisrt before doing it on some nice car...

Tempo removed... will try to dye again... hope to get same colour as above... will try 1 cars without any tempo... the other car with the leaving the stripes tempos...

HWCM 1st group built - Mustang Fastback From the photos i see the car does not need much customization other then the colour and the details... because the hot wheels car is very well done in casting the car as accurate as the real car. im just just going to do my best in custom the colour, details & maybe the wheels... i must agree with everyone... there is some many things to consider doing a custom... the most important is the MOOD... to get good result... if rush... end up not so happy with the final product... if no mood better not to anything then force your self to do something... just leave it... take you time & enjoy... taking about MOOD... i still havent done anything yet for the F&F group build... alamak where is my mood gone... faster come to me....
