It was nerve wrecking match I tell you - I didn't see it but Iwas watching live description of the match on the net and it was nail bitting (sorry I'm big fan of ice hockey).

Apart from that - we had nice weather for few days. Sunny and warm - I even wore dresses for few days but now it's gone colder and should be rainy most of the week

it's bad weather here, not like we are use to, i was at our cabin a couple of weeks ago and the weather was great, came back home to cold and rain.

Still having issues with wisdom teeth, was planning to call the hospital today, but since I haven't taken any painmeds since last night anymore and the pain is okay-ish, not going to do that.

I have my first exam this Friday, then after that one 4 more to go (last one is on June 23rd), so I won't be here often, I need to concentrate on finals.

Hi all !!! It seems like everyone is running in opposite directions these days. Everything here is doing good. My kitty is exceeding all my expectations. Now if the vet likes the way he is healing. OH says it looks like his leg is crooked, but I can't really tell. I think it is because the leg that they operated on is shaved and it does look funny .. I may have 4 kitties inside .... now if they will all just get along.

I am doing things around the house to get ready for my company this summer. I am so excited and looking forward to everyone visiting.

Kijo has given me the courage to start doodling. I have always wanted to draw and she has given me a push in the right direction. I am still very much a 5 year old .... but it is fun!! Who knows, I may be another Grandma Moses .... hehehe

OH is really enjoying his sailboat this summer. He is participating in the local races and doing quite well. He has won several and is beginning to have some trophies. I am thinking of buying him a display case for his birthday ...

News from Marie F - her and the baby are doing well, still in hospital at the moment as baby got some minor infection but she is hoping that they will be going home by end of the week.

My only news of today is that the painters and decorators have today off and only one of them working Thursday and Friday (if the weather's up to it) and that I've bought a garden incinerator (one of those metal dustbins with a chimney) so we can start burning a lot of the paper that we can't recyle (years of stuff with personal details on, and if we shred it, they wont take it to the recycling bank) - the shredder's given up the ghost anyway

Just stopping by again real quick, am on a break (needed one, cos there's a headache coming up). Today is the second day I didn't take any pain meds - only took one before heading to bed yesterday and am about to do the same this evening. And so far, so good, it seems the jaw is improving (finally). I was about to lose my mind because of all the pain and not being able to concentrate on the books, but just in time it started to get better.

I have put in my LED ticker the dates when I have finals, I will do that here too (I cannot remember if I did it before or not, if so, then I'm very sorry): June 11, 12, 15, 22 and 23. It's going to be a very exhausting period, but I am trying to make the best out of this. "Fun" thing is we have elections June 13th (you might have heard from all the mess we have here), so I lose some time doing that (we are obligated to cast a vote) and I don't even know who to vote for as I don't have the time to inform myself about all this.

Other news worth mentioning is that Mom's going to the hospital tomorrow afternoon. She has visited the physio 20 times in the meantime, but that didn't help much (unless to keep the muscles flexible). She's having an MRI taken tomorrow - for her shoulder that is, so not yet a verdict of what is going on and what needs to happen. I'm guessing surgery (and terribly hoping it's not when I'm on vacation), but I'll keep you posted.

I've been sleeping later than I used to, even though it's not more sleep. Have just shifted my times a bit. Seems my new hours don't mesh with the rest of you now. Oh well, maybe I'll have better luck soon.

Hi Gill. Sounds like you have big works going on in your house! I'm OK, thanks for asking. My dad has been in hospital but recovered really well and hopefully is coming home this weekend. My kid started daily injections of growth hormone but has accepted it really well. He has a pen that makes it really easy.

BG, best of luck for all your exams! Good luck for your mum too, hope she has nothing that is too complicated to treat. All the best wishes to her. As for the ellections, can you cast a white vote if you are unsure?

unfortunately the world is full of stupid people - I have to deal with them every day too (if I tell someone that the person who they wish to speak on the phone to is already on the phone with someone else, they still demand to be transferred to him so they can speak to him NOW!).

I'm just unbelievably tired - I have not been sleeping well and due to my (very very cr*py) blinds I'm up daily at 5am (ish) when the sun rises.

Help is at hand - my sister is sending my eye mask - you know like the ones you get on long flights as I'm refusing to pay £5 for one of those from shop (OK the ones from shop are probably better but why pay if I can get one for free?).

Apart from that I'm doing OK. Same old routine, work, home, sleep, work, home, sleep - yeah I really need to get a life

yes I am suffering from sleep depervation today as well..... but I worked a double yesterday, so today is one of my tough days.

cause i sleep during the day I have heavy material over my window to keep the sun out. helps a lot... my room is also the coldest room in the house, which is wonderful.

my room is the warmest one (which is good in a winter) as I have the hot water boiler in my room.
Yes I was thinking of getting some dark heavy material to throw over existing blinds - it's just for summer months. The room has wooden blinds which don't block the light out properly when fully closed.
