Well that's a bit weird about the trousers Gill ?? They don't usually incorporate shoes/boots into trousers do they? only when it's a costume ie bunnies...oh well, he'll just have to be nekkid from the waist down LOL.

Anyway, I just thought I'd swing by and let you know I am still in the land of the living but have been very busy...didn't even check facebook nore PS over the weekend, it was a beautiful summer weekend and I think most people made the most of it.

We spent the day in the kitchen on Saturday preparing food for the engagement pary, which went with a bang and I'll be posting pics on fb soon (ish)...might have to do some heavy editing first though...OMG it was messy!!! But great fun

Today I ache like an 80 year old from my shoulders to my toes, I danced all night (well someone has to and the young ones moslty just sat around *rolls eyes*) but my son and his fiancee had a great time too and that's all that matters really.

It's my daughters 20th birthday tomorrow, can't believe my baby is 20!!!, so I probs won't be around much tomorrow either.

Hello everyone, I had a rough Monday and I'm ready for happy hour.

I just realized I missed Pookie's birthday! So I will be celebrating this weekend. I feel so bad, I'm such a poor mother ... hee hee!

Beautiful day here again, might be the last for a while I fear. Mind you, sleeping with the windows open we were awoken just after 4am by a very, very vocal and noisy Blackbird, who was singing his/her heart out!

Have a croaky throat and itchy eyes today - hayfever's struck!

The decorators are still here, making one heck of a mess rubbing paintwork down and raking out cracks - loads of the doors are taped up to try and keep the dust out of other rooms, not sure if it's working but it's very restrictive.

Just come in from doing some major tidying up in the garden - it's boiling hot out there, so had to concede defeat and come in.

I had an interesting day at school today. I had a good chat with one of my teachers about my studies and my future, and then in today's class we had a reformed gang member come and talk to us about how he's helping with gang intervention of young people ... very interesting and noble work.

At first I didnt think so.... seriously Monday morning my feet hurt so bad, the only way I can describe the pain was it literally felt like my feet were broken.
Was sitting at work crying all morning.

but that has subsides a bit, so i might make it after all!!
just having a bit of back luck, and a resounding headache that I cant get rid of going on 3 days now.

have a unique opportunity to have all day Friday AND Saturday off and I am fighting the urge o go to Flordia......

Just came home from the dr (RA) visit: good to go for another 4 months. She did make me aware of wearing my inlays (supporting soles), cos that's good for my RA in my feet, and that I have to keep moving to stay flexible

my last day off today.... on for 2, off for one...it is my son's 16th stud birthday then on for 2 more...
12 hour shifts get the best of ya...and basically your day is toast....

12 hour shifts are a killer I think. I have had 2 16 hor days on the trot already this week and am about to fall asleep !

I might have a relaxing evening, didn't sleep well and I am kind off expecting a text/phone call from my pregnant friend... She was going to get induced one of these days (she wanted to keep the date a secret) : D I haven't heard from her the entire day, and usually we email a lot!
