Does anyone know why the paw points bar is now orange?

Ever since they have made the playhouse available to send requests, my paw points bar is now orange... is this the same for everyone, and does anyone know why it's changed?

Yeah, at first I thought maybe the orange was for level 47. But then, my hubby's pet, Zorro, also has an orange bar. So much for brilliant thoughts...

I thought there were only 47 levels but the other day I was googling something for PS and I found a website saying there's 50 levels
