HWCM 3^rd Custom Competition

For the year 2012, we will be having 2 categories for customizing. They are:

Category 1: Car only
Category 2: Multiple cars or sets(including diorama)

Category 1
For the car only competition, contestant can only utilize the following casting from the 2011 Premiere Edition:

11 ) Speed Trap
12 ) Super Blitzen
13 ) Rennen Rig
14 ) ’69 Shelby GT-500
15 ) El Superfasto
16 ) ’68 COPO Camaro
17 ) Astro Funk
18 ) Buzzerk
19 ) ’63 Studebaker Champ
20 ) ’11 Corvette Grand Sport
21 ) Blvd. Bruiser
22 ) Diesel Duty
23 ) Twinduction
24 ) ’65 Ford Ranchero
25 ) ’70 Dodge Charger R/T
26 ) Dirty Outlaw
27 ) Circle Trucker
28 ) ’70 Camaro Road Race
29 ) Hammerhead

Past winners and judges will be barred from this category of custom competition

Category 2
For the multiple cars or Sets category, the customizer can use any casting as long as it is a Hot Wheels casting.

Rules and Regulations will be as follows
1. Custom must be submitted by [b]11.59 p.m. 05-02-2012[/b]. All late submission will be considered disqualified.

2. The submission will be judged based on the following categories:

a. Public Voting
b. Paint Finishing
c. Detailing
d. Colour Scheme
e. Originality of custom

3. Up to 3 photos of the custom shall be submitted via email. Please email the entry with the title of your custom to hwcmcustom@hotmail.com

4. All entries will be kept anonymous till the results are announced. Please do not post or share your picture of the custom anywhere else to campaign for votes. This will cause your entry to be automatic disqualification.

5. Any parts can be used as long as they come from any Hot Wheels casting or custom made.

6. The judging committee decision will be final.

7. There may be an interview with the shortlisted finalist to ensure that the custom submitted is done by the entrant.

8. If any of the custom has been found to be not the original work of the entrant, the submission will be automatically disqualified.

9. If any entrant found to be liaising with the judges to get the upper hand, the custom competition judging will be reviewed with that particular judge removed and the entrant disqualified from the competition. A new judge will be assigned to take over the disgrace judge.


10. You can submit as many entry as you want in both categories but you will only win 1 prize per category. Please submit early.
