96 on a p, 35,000
had new head bearings,tyres pads and a chain in the last 1,000 miles
looks standart apart fae exhaust
so hoping its all good

just got email he was checking paper work bike has no mot

phoned guy up and he will put it in thursday
fingers grossed will have yrs ticket

so wont get it now till fri/sat

guy seams gen enough had the bike 5yr and happy to mot it

John I have booked the bike in for an MOT tomorrow morning so I will let you know the outcome on Friday afternoon. Could not take it to my usual place as the snow brought their roof in (nighmare)

Bad news I'm afraid I started to take the bike to the garage this moring and I think one of the brake calipers has seized as it has been lying for a while so I turned back. I am going to have to postpone selling until I get this sorted when I get time.

another update
got tex about green wheels one. i can have it for £850
went to view today
good bits
hagon rear shock
ss bolts all done
braided hoses
not so good
polished cases need a wee buff
twin exhaust cans dont come off
bad bits
full lock hits frame on one side
chain over tightend [no play]
no idiot lights just wee speedo
needs a paint
engine dont match log book
no chain guard
where hanger bolts to frame seams bent
do i need to go on

could you see any signs of damage ,is it the same side as the hanger,ask him if its been dropped.
Sounds like its been dropped/crashed thats probs why no clocks etc.
chain over tightend [no play],
See if you can lift it of the rear sprocket,
if theres too much play maybe knackered

engine dont match log book,
Ask him why.

I you can get it for a good price and are prepaired to put a bit of work in then ok , but dunno about £850 tho.

think its safe to say its been down the road
hanger is other side but may been been down that side and bars full lock other.
guys 21 first bike and dont know much, thats the way he got it
few nice bits hagon shock looks newish braided hoses, under tray, belly pan, frame and cover bolts ss, headers ok, engine ran ok but exhaust loud so cant be sure,
hes going to have a rethink and get back with a cheaper price may be a nice project[reframe]
tip for the young take a m8 who knows bikes
