So it just shows people forget to engage there brains before they get the keys out of there pocket, don’t know about you lot but quick check round the vehicle before getting in or on.

I've heard this story quite a few times over the years, nearly as bad as peeps that leave their dogs in hot car to slow cook.

I saw this on (I think) a Chevy Chase film, Ferris Buellers Day Off or some similar shite.

Nightmare, but I can't imagine not being aware of something being 'not quite right' when I'm driving my 4X4.

This is a very sad story...And I cant stop feeling of those dogs agony .Its an awkward situation when it comes to the owners..Ok they were negligent and I think that they did not do this on purpose. so the verdict not to prosecute is right..Those people will be punished enough with the guilt that will stay with them for a very long time

as said quick check round ya vehicle,I always look round me car/bike before going anywhere

the owners will be full of guilt for the rest of there lifes,very sad
