Just found out what punctured my tyre!

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I finally got my tyre off and found what had actually punctured it. I was expecting a small nail of sorts or something - not a 5 inch metal rod!

Looking at that giant rip on the inner tube, it's no wonder I lost control of the bike so suddenly

The entire thing was inside my tyre Shocked

God knows how it managed to get in there since both ends are totally blunt.

Anyway, after 3 weeks my new tyres arrived and I'm finally back on the road!

I ended up replacing the tyres as well because they were super old anyway Smile

For a little bike like mine, 2 tyres, 2 inner tubes and 2 rim tapes cost over £100!
And it was somewhat of a shame to find that Michelin tyres are now made in Thailand..

U had a lucky escape there, could of had a blow out with an inner tube in there, didn't know they did inner tubes for motorbikes anymore.
Looks like some kind of puch that did the damage.
Anyways glad u sorted now. thumbs
