Wavey discs

Been looking at some but can't afford the top ones was looking to pay around £250.

seen some cheapish ones but are they any good?

do you know were to but some good ones?

apart from looking good are they better?

a mate of mine just put some chinese one on his bike from ebay , so far so good , also a good few on the GSXR forum say they are ok . uk black shadow one on ebay go for about £198 a set most with pads look on ebay ,

chinese ones are okay. however where middle of better discs is soft for some give their not so shatter 10x easier.

the ones kai is selling from his b6 are armstrong. £260 for the pair they were new

Uk Black shadow on mine off EBay, been on over a year now and they been fine, performance on a par with o.e.m and are wearing well with sintered pads. thumbs

Different grades of material available. Which did they use?

So easy to machine something that looks ok, but who knows what grade of material and the manufacturing process. Who controls the quality of such products.

ive used EBC waveys on a few of my old bikes tbh always been good as an upgrade no warpage issues either even after track days loads ov places do'in specials on them too M&P usually av waveys on special offer just use sintered pads . ive not tried the chinese 1's off ebay but a few customers bikes have them and havnt any complaints thumbs

Admittedly it was a few years ago now, but I got a full set of Braking w*ve discs and Carbone Lorraine pads for my B12 for £300. This was at a time when everyone else wanted £175 per front disc Cool

Well worth giving them a call thumbs

Be very wary of Chinese discs. They warp very quickly Shocked
