BanditMike 0 Posted October 25, 2011 Actually don't mind the look . Yes it does look a bit like a BMW, but I still like the look . Hopefully they've cured the corrosion problem on them. Lad had one (Tiger), had Triumphs for years, but it started to get corrosion and pitting. I think he said on the wheels and areas of the pipes. He went to Triumph and they wouldn't do anything so he got rid and got a Multistrada.
fr499y 0 Posted October 25, 2011 triumph is known for having crap finish on alloy/chrome, the early ( new ones ) Bonneville were the worse for it!!

fr499y 0 Posted October 25, 2011 like i said, the T100, some of the cruisers etc that had a fair bit of chrome/lacquered polished parts suffered, dont think any of the sportier ones did though But yeah, basically any triumph with chromed/polished parts suffered from it, aka fork legs ( polished ) cases, rocker covers, wheels etc :P only ones that didnt are ones that never seen a drop of water in there lives lol
