Well done Lee.

See if you can get an A/F ratio printout ?

Dyno's are a great way to set up / check
bikes and really get them running right.
They are excellent tools.

Not so good for quoting horsepower.
LOTS of variables and very easy to get
very different results on different machines
on different days with different operators.

Every operator will tell you THEIR machine is right.

I've seen a bike riden from one dyno shop to
another and lose 15 hp !!

I've put a machine on a dyno I was selling and
the operator asked how good did I want it to look ?

I do like dyno's.
I've entered a few Dyno shoot-outs that were
fun, its all equal when running bikes back to back.

Just dont take all the numbers as gospel.

Must try the Busa again sometime....

As Tony says treat whatever numbers you get as a reference for that day on that dyno, those numbers will not be the definitive absolute truth. I think if you stick to the same dyno with the same operator then you can assess how effective your current and future mod's on your bike are. Get the operator to optimise the AFR throughout the rev range, especially at part throttle openings where we live most of the time when riding on thre road. I'm always asking my dyno man to give me printouts for quarter and half throttle as well as the full throttle run.

taken onboard main thing is aslong as they get a few extra ponys, and a nice smooth delivery through the rev range I will be happy

oh and it gets rid of the off the throttle stumble thanks to mr suzuki dropping the pilot jets to 15 to keep within emissions levels head bang should have left them at 20

could have just fitted a jet kit meself but doesnt seem worth riding back and fourth to dyno to get it just right carbs on and off god knows how many times

any way will see what comes of it aslong as it aint raining saturday fingers crossed
