stantheman 0 Posted September 8, 2012 well ive started copper plating things on me copper coloured busa started with the sacrificial spikes on the foot pegs and ive got the bar end weights soaking in mr muscle to strip the black annodised coating off then ill polish them and copper plate them the process is easy ;add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to 2 pints of water then immerse copper pipes in the water and connect each to a trickle charger when the water turns blue in about 3 minutes connect what you want coating to the negative and hey presto 5 minutes later its done oh be careful cos it produces hydrogen gas so do it outside Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
