nice but easier just buying the 1200

Yes, LOTS easier !

But thats a lot more "Mr Sensible"
Nowhere near as interesting.

No one ever built a Hot Rod because its
easier than buying a Subaru.

I like the ZRX, nice bikes.

I know a guy who wakes them up a bit.
ZZR12 6 speed box, ZZR cams, few other tricks.
Standard ones are OK, but they can be turned into Monsters.
I dont think you can do a straight engine swap (shame)
ZZR might have a down draft head.

There's a "1224" Muzzy ZRX running around Brisbane,
Something like 165hp at the tyre. NICE. thumbs

I mix with folk who dont see anything odd
about cutting up GSXR600/750 frames to fit a
intercooled Turbo Hayabusa engine in.....

Mate recently bought a 99 Hayabusa. Fairly tidy and original.
Its the unrestricted Copper/Bronze model, quite collectable.

He soon chopped it up and is now looking at
various Superchargers...

One of the guys on ASF decided what an old
Oil-cooled Bandit 12 really needs is fuel injection,
an intercooled Turbo, and a home made frame...

Even if you own much bigger, better, faster bikes,
it doesnt mean your GS500 doesnt need a Turbo,
Fuel injection system, and USD front end...
