michlin piliot road2.

hey guys and girls, just a quick post to see who has expearence of the michlin pilot road 2 tyres as im thinking about fitting them. how do they cope with wet riding and with track days?

Great tyre wet or dry. I've used them several times on the bandit and currently have them on the Z. Don't know about how they are on track days.

had a set on my old 600 and i thought they were great,excellent wet grip and impressive lean grip thumbs

well good had them on the GSXR , stick to the road very well just like my socks stick to the wall after a hard day at work Laughing

On my 3rd set on the B12 and really like them good grip in the wet and dry but never tried them on the track thumbs seem to last well even ridden with spirit my rear (of bike Rolling Eyes ) still has a good profile with 2000 on the tyre! Cool

good in wet and dry i have only heard one complain that they get too hot and wear out quickly on a track day

yes they do wear quicker on a track day as will most road tyres,but its either that or a set of sticky track tyres and warmers and generator ect,ect.of course you could just potter round but whats the point of that.

Not used PR2's but PR3's are good.
I use either PR3's or Sportmax SportSmart's.
Fairly sticky and stand up OK to the B-King
or Busa's weight, horsepower and brakes.
