Jontiger 0 Posted February 9, 2013 Considering buying some of these, anyone got any experience of them or recommendationsCheershttp://www.tyrepressuremonitors.com/index2.htm
Macie_UK 0 Posted February 9, 2013 Never used them, but to be honest I don't really see the point for several reasons:1) I can't imagine that they would be 'smart' enough to cope with the change in pressure that occurs when they tyre warms up, so no use once you're on the move and say stop for a butty and a glance, because it'll take a good couple of hours to cool down to the true 'cold' pressure.2) The red indicator comes on at -6 psi, and on a bike you would know anyway because it would start to feel a bit squiffy.3) For pre-ride pressures, I'd sooner trust a decent gauge every time anyway.Sorry I can't comment on actually having them though. Robbie 0 Posted February 9, 2013 That just reminded me to get the Z changed over to it. Had Nitrogen filled tyres on the Bandit for quite a while. Used to get them filled and then forget about them really. I'd check them maybe once every few months.
