Hey guys, I was out on the bike today and whilst I was stopped at some lights a guy on an R1 pulls up, he had full racing leathers high top boots and no gloves. Shocked clearly he does not value his hands thumb down

I don't really know the difference on the 2 gens , but the gen 1 shock is no good to me anyway

Quite similar.

Gen 1 has the tougher motor,
More meat in the barrels and steel valves.

Gen 2 has titanium valves, an extra 35cc
(It has the B-King motor) and MUCH better brakes.

Gen 2 seems slightly more refined to ride but
there's no difference in performance when you start
to hot them up, if anything a Gen1 is better.

Lots of stuff like bodywork, subframes, wheels
are all slightly different but can be made to fit.

I quite fancy another faired Busa.

Jumped in the car Friday morning,
Saturday lunchtime now and I'm up at Ayr
(Going up the East coast)

1339k's ( 836 miles ) in a day and half.

Nice here. Middle of winter but still 27 degrees C.

Party tonight and start driving home tomorrow.

Did 2713k's ( 1,695 miles ) in 3 and a half days.

Only went a little bit up the East coast and back.

There's room to move about out here !

I'd still like a Gen2 Busa,
and an Inazuma 1200,
and a GSXR1100K/L slingshot,
and an 1135EF/EFE,
and a 1000/1100 Katana,
and.........

anything IL4, chain drive, 16v, Suzuki, over 1000cc.

OK , just got what was recommended for me , my mates dad races bikes and pointed me in the direction of this one of these as it would hopefully suit my intended needs ...a bit more than I originally wanted to spend but after looking at some of the crap in halfords I thought better to go to a local independent and give them my money ( he knocked over a 100 quid off book price ).

Looking in the shop there was one at £7000 ffs I'd sleep with that in the bedroom and would not let it out of my sight.

Have you been out on it yet jez ? I use mine for nipping into the center of syston to the shops and stuff it's easier than taking the motor sometimes and supposedly doing me a bit of good , I also nip out more in the winter when the king is tucked up in bed
