haveugot1 0 Posted February 9, 2014 Well spent most of the day putting new bottom arms on my peugeot and they were a bast@#d to fit. Had to pull the drive shafts forward to get one of the bolts out as they go in from the top. But there fitted and oil change done ready for an mot.

haveugot1 0 Posted February 9, 2014 Was inside on a car lift but cos the bolts go in from the top you need to move the drive shafts. Then there is no top up point for the gearbox oil so you put it in through the breather.

Chadatious 0 Posted February 9, 2014 its had 2 new ones over the last 2 years so may be the 3rd 1st and second it jumped in gear if flooring it, maybe not selecting fully? and had no gear the other night and with a bang they worked again? very odd. at worse its a box, not a big job just a faff! Changed a 306 gearbox on my own a couple of Christmases ago. Pretty tight fit actually-be sure to remove the top engine mount with a stud extractor and you'll be far better served.
