Tip for you bike locks/ignition

Years ago on my Bandit the ignition lock got to the point where I was struggling with the Key each time I used it , and like everyone else thought WD spay was the answer till I spoke to a lock smith and he gave me this advice >

DO NOT USE OIL IN YOUR LOCKS ! Wash the lock out with WD there is a small pin hole at the bottom to let liquid out , then using a air line blow it out and leave it as long as you can to dry out , then apply and work in GRAPHITE POWDER

It made my ignition switch work like new , and I have used it ever since Hope this helps someone

Same stuff but half the price what with postage. If you can find a locksmiths locally they probably stock it.
