Nice run down the back road to Northallerton, alot quicker on the bike With the idea to meet my Dad then go on the bikes to pick his new one up. Then, as you say, the heavens opened. dick65 0 Posted July 3, 2015 I was looking at the gen 1 V strom but there lumpy under 5000 revs and I cant be done faffing with a power commander the new ones are completely revised - not as much torque as the 1250 but good fun with that v twin engine - the new Versys looks better than the old one just need a test ride Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
stantheman 0 Posted July 3, 2015 got mates with the new 1250(its a bandit)and the new v strom which he got a stone through the radiator in the scottish highlands and cant get a new rad anywhere hes ended up soldering his up till suzuki can get the part it also sometimes goes into limp mode for no reason no fault codes show and has traction control issues 'for the money the 1250 is a bargain in my opinion Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
