Refusing to get out of bed - got loads of work to do but don't really want to do anything Ashamed

I feel quite cheery today, so I'm good Smile
Everyone deserves a lazy day hon, enjoy it!

I understand. Over here it was completely different, both of my parents really got tired of the problems at their work, so they both were glad to leave. At Mom's job, they were planning to reorganize everything and Dad's firm/company (whatever it is called) decided to shut everything down and to close the factory where he worked, so he was able to retire before all that happened.

Everyone is diff .... My OH and I do basically the same job .. He works on the other side of the room, and he can't wait to retire. He is eligible now, but he decided he wanted a nicer sail boat so he has to work a bit longer to help pay for it ....congratulations

that's true but I have been having way too many of those lately Ashamed

I really need to get my backside in gear and start doing something - should start to sort my stuff, preparation for packing.

Had a coffee with my next door neighbour yesterday and told her about my situation and asked her if she would move in with me to a new flat and she said yes but with the knowledge that she is looking for somewhere to buy so she might be moving out at some point.

Guess now I will have to start flat hunting - 2 bed flat. This way I can afford half the rent and bills without anyones help and that makes me feel much better.

I'm going to be 32 this year but under current UK legistlation I will have to wait till 65 (I think) to retire to get state pension - they keep pushing the age more and more back....

yes I was really happy yeaterday but last night when I coudn't sleep (again) I started to have doubts.... dunno why.

She said to have a look at net and let her know whats there... I guess if she would live with me for at least 6 months than that should give me time to get my life sorted.

Well, kind of ... We dicided to leave it with the name it came with .. It is called Onyva ... which is supposed to mean something like ... let's go ...
It is not a good translation and we do not know where they got that name. We were going to name in TaKen for Tanya and Ken -- our names, but because of some registration problems, it would take a couple of months to do and we don;t want to lose the use of the boat for that long ..

sometimes I feel old here .....

on that note, I must leave .... the day shift people will be arriving soon and I must have my lappy put away ....

toodles!!

Onyva, that's actually 'on y va' in French, not kidding, so it basically means : let's go!

You're not old Tanya, and I mean that!

See you later hon and have fun!

That is the law here too, but I am an air traffic controller, and because of the type of job, I can retire early. I have a mandatory retirement age of 56 ....
