hey i want to know about the holy spirit i know hes with me but i want to fully understand on how he works what does he do and just everything about him please post scripture or testamonies or anything that has to do with him.

Windwaker,

One of the MOST awesome things that He does is He comforts us, especially so through dreams. He is called The Comfortor. He also teaches us everything we need to know and brings things back to our memory.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26.

He also gives us dreams and visions and prophecy. Acts 2:17

“‘In the last days, God says,

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,

your old men will dream dreams.

18Even on my servants, both men and women,

I will pour out my Spirit in those days,

and they will prophesy.

He fills us (which gives us power Romans 15:19):

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Acts 4:31

And He distributes gifts of the spirit:

It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have. 1 Cor 12:11

He gives us joy: Luke 10:21

We get prophecy through the Holy Spirit.


He gives us revelation knowledge: Luke 2:26

And alot more stuff too. I'd have to write a book to post it all.
