aaw Socks, he's in trouble now, cos hit scratched R quite badly, so he's outside. R has gone to bed though, so Socks will be in soon.

I'm about to watch Silent Witness, a bit of blood and gore!

Seriously, am really pleased for you, what hours will you be doing?

I will be working mostly the shift right before my night audit. so 3pm to 11pm.
but a couple of morning shifts too. I am not really sure of all my hours yet, just that I have a job.

aww poor socks.... was he playing?

Well, I hope that means we see more of you Smile

I think Socks was playing, R is a bit more 'pjysical' with him whereas I try to make him gentle (Socks not R lol) just incase a family with children want him, you know? We're dog type people really, cats are a bit of a mystery to both of us!

This is how he sleeps - he's not a shy boy

The string is his toy, with a toy mouse on the end (left of pic)

He's on Dennis's bed which is just to the left of where I sit in the kitchen, as I type to you Smile

He's not too big, the angle makes him look h-u-g-e.

His head is quite ickle! but - he has long legs so is tall, taller than Dennis.

And yes, he's filled out some since he came here ?

He was skin and bones when he decided to move in.

Well he has made himself quite comfortable then, huh??

he always sleeps like that? how strange!!!

I caught Clyde sleeping on his back one night with all legs sticking straight up in the air, it was quite a sight, but no camera to be found around me! : C

Yes, he is very comfy in that position, another career beckons, no?
Sometimes he sleeps in the little kitten bed (oval fur fabric) and will tumble right out of it, sprawled anyhow, but still sleeps - he's a boy, so what can I say? rofl

Clyde will not sleep in a cat bed.... like ever.

Bought them for him on several occasions, always go unused.

Wow....you have such great taste, Gil. Love it. I'd have to pour over dozens of mags. to get ideas out of the conventional I'm use to. I like different, just don't think that way. heehee.

Yes, cats are wild. They are so much fun to watch when they want to be playful. We have three....Tiffany, Mouse and Maurice.

I'm just nosing around. Question.....On this forum, do people not list on their siggy what they are wanting or needing anymore? wishlist? I was trying to nose around. I'm in a giving mood and just don't know what to send anyone. LOL!

Thanks for the compliment. Design runs in the family, I helped design and project managed a 3 storey house we built once, so a bathroom isn't too troubling. Infact I'd loved to have done that professionally really.

This bathroom needs a serious clean and polish, just not quite there yet.

The shower is a mosaic tiled tray with a curved glass side screen. The water is either a drench overhead or the smaller shower head on an adjustable bar. The water wont spray far enough to wet the floor.

The brown bars are the radiator (not sure what you call them, we have a central heating boiler which fires up and pumps hot water into the radiators in every room) for heat, but the tiled floor has an underfloor heating system too Smile

This design of radiator is also acting as a room screen for the lavatory behind.

When the room's all clean it needs to be decorated, and for the curtains to go back up at the window...
quite a lot of work to do yet.

I think the radiator thing is kind of neat..... i would be scared with it that close to the toilet... but there you have it.

at first i thought it was just decoration.

It's perhaps not quite so close as it looks? and they never get too hot to touch, everything is thermostically controlled.

Besides - your towels keep lovely and warm on them for when you step out of the shower Smile

Yeah, my thought too on it possibly burning you. Ooooh, built in towel warmer, nice!

I like showers that are not totally enclosed. We have a friend, a drywaller, who designed his house and the master bath shower is fitted on a curved wall that is opened on both ends that you just walk into. It's really interesting.

At least where I am we don't have radiators...it's mostly central heat/air that uses blowers in the ceiling (or floor) from units installed in the attic.
