But recently one got sick and ended up coming back to my mom's yard and dying next to the food bowl. Animal control said that it came back there since it was the only place it knew to get steady food and told her not to put food out anymore. So now she's worried about the 4 strays she was feeding. TanyaRC 0 Posted February 3, 2010 I haven't had any raccoons, just possums ....If she wants , she canstill feed her strays, just cut back on the food a bit till they eat it all and don't leave any for the wildlife. I have 7 that are solid white. Two of them I can tell from the others. They have names .... Luckily I don't have coons .... just possums.
