I love them too, these were "special" sandwiches: we had raisin bread and I just ate it with nothing on it (and apple pie for dessert... our neighbor always brings us something from the bakery where she helps out)

Mom FINALLY called the dr for an appointment, she's been having troubles with her arm for months now! Going to hear her out, so will be back before you noticed I'm gone!

so surprisingly, he seemed to do well today, asked me what all the other docter did, asked me how I was feeling ect.
showed him my crooked joints in my hands and the swelling, he asked to see my feet, told him they have been a strange colour purple lately, ect.
all the basics. told him I have been feeling better except for a few hours that day.

he gave me another shot of B-12 said to ease me off coming off those steroids, and then prescribed me Plaquenil to see how that treats me. although he said it would take 6 weeks for it to kick in.
he says if this doesnt work, he was going to switch me over to what BG is taking (or at least I think its what she is taking) but he says that is like the last option we want to take.

the Plaquenil is actually a malaria treatment. : D
hehehehehe.


but anyways its super expensive.... so visit was way more thn anticipated, no shopping on way home for new pants or anything.

but not such a bad day.

No need to worry I'm just ranting.
No oil made heating not work - it needs the engineer to bleed the system etc. and they said they'd be out last Friday but they haven't been.

There's this leak still in the dining room ceiling and the builder's not come back to us.

The hotel at the weekend wasn't up to scratch (but on the plus side, me and IMOM always make our own fun rofl)

We got such a bad stone chip in the windscreen that we have to have it replaced, and the car's due an MOT on Friday - everyone was messing ,e about today. Now I have to treck to the back of beyond on Thursday to get it done.

We need an electrician and he hasn't called back.

My dishwasher's not working AGAIN and it was FULL of stinky crockery which I had to empty and do all by hand and then the water was scalding as I'd had the immersion on.

In the great scheme of things, the list does go on and on, but we're healthy and happy etc. so I'm just in a slump to be honest.

I am fine ... getting ready for a shake up of my schedule at work .. I will have about 3 weeks of straight day shifts .... that is going to be a change for me..... I am used to working shift work ...

I just googled plaquenil, that's something they give you if other ... painkillers (the word was too hard for me to remember LOL), so I hope they kick in (and see I'm not making things up, that you have to wait 6 weeks for it to work :p I take methotrexate (something they give when you have cancer)

the dentist was fine, I have one cavity so have to go back in a couple of weeks. Next week I just have to get my teeth x-rayed and listen to what the surgeon has to say. And hopefully reschedule for that surgery. I actually didn't have to get them removed, but it's for the best though
