Weekend wasn't too terrible considering I was working extra to make up for some time lost.
ended up having a 4AM rendezvous Sat night, that was literally just too much fun!!!

was just looking up movie times, was hopign to be able to catch a late movie after work, but the lastest movie showing is before 10, whats up with that??? isn't it summer time??

oh like a greyhound bus?? might be cheaper, but I dont think i would ever travel that way.... also look into amtracks..... sadly they take longer than you would hope, but I have never had trouble with them (and they are really comfy too!!)

Tan Tan def. deserves it. can't find a more sweeter caring person in the whole wide world!!! I gave her a series of kitty drawings in some really cool frames that I had found.

I'm not much of a photographer. I like to play around with effects and see what I can come up with.... but not very good at it all tbh.
BG on the other hand...... she is quite the photographer.
I ended up taking more scenic pics while I was there.... been waiting patiently for more group pics to pop up, but seems like the others are taking their time uploading.

Did you hear? We all threw Tan Tan a surprise b-day party at her own house, and made her cry. heheheeh

not from tan tan's house, but from the beach on Fernandina, which is like 30-45 minutes away??

thought it was pretty cool cause it was clear and bright on one side and storming on the other.
I think Lizzie (Bg''s Sis) got a pic with some lightning here. want to borrow the pic, and add some lighting as well.

been extracting the cars (taken out 6-7 already) off the beach shore and stitching all the pics together.

the file is rather large, but gives me lots of practice with photo editing!!!

got back home last night (figured it would be easier so I could start unpacking, and let Clyde get used to being back home) Have to admit, I am dead beat.
Poor Clyde. Think he is quite depressed to leave. he would have been more than happy to stay with Tan Tan without even a second thought about me.

Glad I dont vacation often..... checked the scale when I got back and was like O__O But it was worth the trip.

Gonna have to get used to my schedule again the next few days. Quite hard after having a few days of complete bliss.

Later will found out if I got accepted to go see the Rheumatoid specialist as well.

Gonna miss my sweet lil Bunny Gurl though!!!!

still sitting in bed this morning.

kind of sore, and today is a farewell day. : C

yesterday was our kind of day, SHOPPING. : D

Took the girls to World Market (which they dont have) so that was fun. and they explained all the Belgium beer and stuff to us. then to Ross (a cheap clothes store) which we all found something neat to wear! I got a dress, Sophie (the luckiest of us all) got a PJ set, a dress and a shirt, all which look super awesome on her, and Liz got a cute shirt, and some flats with little slipper socks as well. Checked out Micheals, cause craft stores are awesome!!! then the fun part was trying to find a hoodie for Sophie in Florida in the middle of a heat wave!!!! Luckily the one jacket that walmart had was perfect for it!!! : D

So a quick little update, then I am being called for food, so need to go make some bfast I believe.

I was aware that you were awake. We've been up for an hour or so now In our room.

Just about to head to the shower myself. already a bit late for me.

How fun Bee! that sounds awesome!

Down in Ferindina we found SHRIMPS everywhere!!! (I counted at least 6 anyways) of little shrimp statues dressed up. (pirate, rock star, ect)
We needed to take pictures of them. Was going to yesterday, but it was raining. Hopefully we can take those snaps for you, cause everyone thought of you when we saw them.

Yesterday was a LONG day (i think everyone was still tired from the night before....) We first headed off to Amelia Island (Ferendina) and went to the ocean. AS soon as we got there, it seemed like it was gonna pour. It held out for quite a bit though..... we took lots of pics of the beach (though no one actually went out onto it) Tried to take pics of lightning, ect.

Took a driving tour of the rest Of Fernindina, and ate lunch at this nice little "hole in the wall" place. because the world cup was going on, and Lizzie didnt want to see the score, we sat out side (had rained a litle bit ago) It was nice the entire time we ate, and no one had any empty plates when leaving, right when it was tie to go, it started to rain!

So after that....(trying to remember) we went to a couple of stores, and then headed on home.

I (with a lot of help from both Sophie and Tan Tan) cooked dinner while most everyone was keeping up with watching Spain win the world cup.
I think we all ate so much that day our tummies were on the verge of exploding.


But that was most of the day. Not sure what is the plan for today. We were going to go out on the boat, but it seems rain is the all day forecast for today. we talked about going shopping, so not sure what is all in store for today. Sophie and company still have all day today, and then they leave tomorrow back to CA around 5:00PM.

just about to head out and get those Belgium kids now. : D

Currently they are Flying over Texas.

Been lurking but nothing going on here, is there??
