First frost of the winter here last night , wont be long before the salt is on the roads -

Years ago on my Bandit the ignition lock got to the point where I was struggling with the Key each time I used it , and like everyone else thought WD spay was the answer till I spoke to a lock smith and he gave me this advice > DO NOT USE OIL IN YOUR LOCKS ! Wash the lock out with WD there is a small pin hole at the bottom to let liquid out , then using a air line blow it out and leave it as long as you can to dry out , then apply and work in GRAPHITE POWDER http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pressol-Graphite-50g-Free-of-grease-/251698473685?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3a9a65ead5 It made my ignition switch work like new , and I have used it ever since Hope this helps someone -

Yes think the engines are bullet proof , there is a few people I now with high mileage and all is well , and you know I look after/service mine regular -

noticed today when cleaning the bike ,that is started to get a few marks here and there (don't think you would notice) ,But suppose its going to with the miles I am doing , and that was my idea to use this bike and get the pleasure from it rather than selling it and someone else getting the pleasure form a bike with low miles on it , Just hard to see these little bits happening -
