Good evening. After a quick bit of advice if possible. I've just been offered a self employed job as a Coach driver but when I'm not on the coaches, they'll put me on the Taxi's. I'll be paid an hourly wage. I've got the paperwork for the Hackney licence and CRB etc. As far as I can tell, I just need to send off the CRB and the licence application for now. Do I have to do anything at all about the medical yet or is that all done after the knowledge test? Also, is the knowledge test usually a multiple choice type thing or do you usually have to know the exact answer off the top of your head? The reason I ask is because they have given me 3 A4 pages of places to remember. It looks a bit daunting and I doubt I could memorise exactly where everywhere is. Multiple choice would be easier. lol. It would just make me worry less. Is there anything else I need to know about the job. I know it's not that well paid if it's quiet but it's a job at the end of the day. It's certainly a good stop gap until I find something else. Cheers guys.

Rightyo. I bought this welder a couple of years ago and have only used it once in that time. Therefore, it is pointless me keeping it especially as I need the money. It's a powercraft (Wolf) gasless turbo mig. It is rated at25-130amps. It has 6 power settings and adjustable wire speed. It comes with an almost new roll of flux cored mig wire. Its also got a thermal overload cut-out built in. It comes with all paperwork in excellent condition. It also comes with a spare shroud, spare 13a fuse and 2 spare tips. I do believe that they can somehow be converted to gas but I wouldn't know how if it is indeed possible. It cost me £150 new. I'll sell it for £75 plus £10 p+p to anywhere in mainland UK. Free delivery on the isle of wight. Cheers Jeff

I decided to take the mutt for a walk up on Tennyson downs this arvo. I didn't even know it was there until last night. It's a bloody nice place to go for a stroll if you ever come to the Isle of Wight. Just be warned, it's a long way up from the car park. the pic below is not even half way up. It's so peaceful with no-one else around once you get up there. The place is huge but I couldn't see how far it does go because of the fog. I love hidden places like this. I reckon the car park could also be a good dogging site. lol. It also a place to take a dead body if you have any enemies
