I just want to thank all of you who responded to this question. God has really placed a love for the Bride in me, and is bringing songs from when I was younger back to me. When I learned them I had no idea what they truly meant. As He is revealing more things to me these old songs and hymns are much more precious. Halfstep1969

Just wanted to give God the glory and the praise!! We didn't know how we were going to be able to get my husband's insulin without insurance. But we qualified for help with his diabetic supplies, and insulin! We actually don't have to pay any money and he is provided for 3 months at a time. Lord willing we won't be in need of it in another three months, but that we will have job and finances coming in. Just wanted to share. Halfstep1969

I remember this one dream I had years ago, I was going up in the clouds and I heard a beautiful choir singing praises to the Lamb. It sounded like a gospel choir. The harmonies were so beautiful. I couldn't see anything but clouds all around me. I remember it getting brighter and brighter and the singing was getting closer, I felt like I would soon see Jesus, then I awoke in bright sunlight streaming through the window shades. Desiree, Thanks for that! Today I woke up to "Sometimes He calms the Storm" by Scott Krippayne, and the line "Sometimes he hold us close and lets the wind and waves go wild, Sometimes he calms the storm, other times he calms his child" is what has stayed with me. I wrote a song the other day about hiding in his wings until the storm has finally passed. I also have been given a vision of standing on the Rock and I am safely tucked under God's feathers as the waves are crashing so high and violently. halfstep1969

Hi, everyone, Just wondering if you sometimes receive foreknowledge through songs. I will wake up with a certain song on my heart, and it almost always will have to do with the situation that I am in or one that is coming my way. For instance this trial that I am going through right now, I started to hear the song by Ginny Owens, "I Will Go through the Valley if You Want me to". I couldn't understand why this song kept popping up in my heart, when everything was going really well, and then a few days later, my husband lost his job. I know that God speaks to me a lot through songs. Has anyone else had this experience? God's grace, halfstep1969 :babymonkey:

Wonder Woman was my favorite. I liked how she would make people tell the truth with her lasso, and use her bracelets to deflect bullets. I even had the doll, I think it was by Barbie. Halfstep1969

I subscribe to the Elijah list and receive prophetic teachings in e-mails. I have been having such a difficult time with lack of finances. God has been revealing to me that He will be glorified in our circumstances, and that it is for His purposes that I'm being refined, and purified. I was given a deep love for the Bride of Christ and a desire to see her come into the authority and fullness of God, after I received a vision of her in her current condition in August 2007, and then what she will be, The Victorious Bride. As I was studying scriptures yesterday about refining, the word "overcome" was given to me. I looked up all the scriptures in the New Testament about overcoming and settled in Rev 2 and 3 . I wrote down all the promises to "he who overcomes" . Today I received teaching from Elijahlist, and it was the exact scriptures about overcoming, and refining, and I was blown away. It said that I willl come forth with divine character and a clear vision of God's end-time plan, because of this refining I am undergoing. I could not stop crying because I really need the encouragement. Just wanted to Praise God that "His ways are higher", and He is the Master Planner!!!! . God Bless, halfstep1969

Hi everyone, We are really in a financial bind and are in need of major miracle for finances. I believe that we will be delivered from this fiery trial by God's hands, and it will be so apparent that it is God that did it. My prayer is for my husband Craig who is so close to giving up and losing his faith. Everything that can go wrong is going wrong, I ask that you come into agreement with me that he will see God work wonders on our behalf, and give God all the glory, who "is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us". I have only spoken in tongues once. It wasn't immediately after I got saved, but, as I was dreaming and praising God in my dream I woke up speaking in tongues. I was so excited. The next day I was hoping to have that same experience, but it was different. The dream I had there was a choir singing, with words written on a chalkboard, about the blood, but it didn't seem right, so I asked who was talking, and I heard a screech, and it was like the whole scene melted like film melting, and I woke up. I woke up with my heart pounding, and I haven't spoken in tongues since. halfstep1969
