What an awesome Word. Thank you, it's all about relationship with Him!!!

I know this was posted years ago but I really had to apply to this. Please note this revelation is no in any way intended for us to live in fear because Christ lives in us and we have the 'mind of Christ' :) 1 Corinthians 2:16. And another note before I go into explanation this is in no way to make anyone PARANOID about this discussion, God is everything and He is ALL in ALL!! We are victorious because of HIM. Okay so reading over the past post this is my response and I wish I had responded two years ago but I only joined the forum last year

I believe in generational cruses. Even though the bible does not say generational cruses specifically it does talk about them. I ask ed the Holy Spirit to give me revelation in the scriptures and this is whose name popped up , King Solomon. I am sure there is more.

When he was King reigining after his father's death-King David a Man after God's owns HEART, he gave Solomon specific instructions for him to be successful: All scriptures from AMP bible

1 Kings 2:3 Keep the charge of the Lord your God, walk in His ways, keep HIs statues, His commandments, His precepts and His testimonies as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may do wisely and prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.

So Solomon did until he married many foreign women which was a no, no to God because of the women's background. This is a long one

1 King 11 vs a 1-11

But King Solomon loved many foreign women-the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammorrites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites.

( remember these ites whom the children of Israel fought to get to the promise land Canaan)


vs 2 They were of the very nations of whom the Lord said to the Israelites, YOu shall not mingle with, neither shall they mingle with you, for surely they will turn away your HEARTS after their gods. Yet Solomon clung to these in love
vs 3 He had 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines, and his wives turned away his heart from God.
Vs 4. For when Solomon was old his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart after other gods, and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God as was the heart of David his father.
Vs 5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abominable idol of the Ammonites .
Vs 6 Solomon, did evil in the sight of the Lord, and went not fully after the Lord as David his father did.
Vs 7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abominable idol of Moab, on the hill opposite Jerusalem and for Molech the abominable idol of the Ammonites.
Vs 8 And h did so for all of his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods
Vs 9 And the Lord was angry with Solomon because his heart heart was turned from the Lord, the God of Israel, Who had appeared to him twice,
Vs 10 And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods, but he did not do what the Lord commanded.
Vs 11 Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, Because you are doing this and have not kept My covenant and My statues, which I have commanded you, I will surely rend the kingdom from you and will give it to your servant!
This is where the generational curses came in vs 12 However, in your days I will not do it for David your father’s sake. But I will rend it out of the hand of your son!


1) Because all power and might is in God’s right hand (Psalms 89:13 and more scriptures referring to Power and might in His right hand) He is the One who can either allow the enemy to stir up trouble with us, but this is some of the time not ALL of the time, remember Job- whether we know what our ancestors did anything or not.And people who have cast out spirits the enemy flees at the Name of Jesus during deliverance sessions.

However, because God Is a loving God and Loves us oh so ever much, he will lead us and guide us to the TRUTH and it is up to us to change, confession etc for generational curses etc even the ones we didn’t commit and Jesus is the Healer and Deliver the Name above All names who will make us WHOLE!!!! PRAISE the LORD!!!!
That’s why in school I remember we would have a family tree, dating back who are grandfather, grandmother mother etc is, even though we don’t know all that happened in the past etc.

Now I am not saying go back to all your family members ask them what they did etc, some of them may have passed away, but do ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you anything that is in your life that is preventing you from entering into God’s Perfect Will for your Life, and that starts by having a personal relationship with Him worshipping Him staying in His Word , His Truth, and in Prayer.

2) How do the gods that Solomon was worshipping refer to us today?? Is there anything in our life, my life included, that I put first before god, tv, celebrities etc.

Please note this is my personal revelation and is no way to offend or hurt others. God is ALL in ALL a God of balance. I am learning to love and worship Christ more and more!!!

Hi Laura,

I just want to write that I am sorry about what happened to you and your sister. That vision that you had could only have been comfort, as I am sure you already know, from God.

, I believe all dreams are from God even the nightmares as hard as that is comprehend, but I remember looking up a verse. Job 7:14, but can I suggest two things to you and I hope you take this out of love.

First apply the blood of Jesus to those nightmares and cover your family as well. Decree it filling those nightmares over your life, there's power in His blood and press into God's presences when you are decreeing the blood of Jesus over those nightmares and keep doing it until you feel the peace of God.

Whenever I had nightmares l used to be confused or upset, until I grabbed a hold of this awesome teaching it's new and powerful because it focuses all on Jesus. I encourage you to listen to the series on Youtube Glory light of Jesus. It's not New Age, as I don't believe in that but because I have heard alot of New Age teachings I can discern what's New Age and what is only Jesus!!! You can apply these same steps to your nightmares. I have done this time and time again, and I am seeing the victory in my dreams. The enemy has no hold.

TRUST God at ALL times and let him fight your battles, just like HIS word

says!!!!! I found myself that instead of me trying to manpulate and

control the situation, I just ask God to give me Victory, from HIM, over

all the areas of my life and lining my thoughts with HIS!!!

Yes, I saw it too on the News. I am actually based in South Africa for a few months doing a working internship until December. When I first came to South Africa,in June, I even read on the news of an earthquake tremor felt in Joburg, I thought is that common, and now tornados, the weather has been acting funny, because there was snow in the early months of June :(

Hi Angelwings,
Because of this issue with your neighbour please remember this verse Eph 6:12 and that God has given you the victory. I would ask the LORD to plead the blood of Jesus over your house, family etc, everynight before you go to bed and when you wake up, and ask the lord to relase his angelic army on your behalf. And always remember and speak the word out loud that no weapon formed against you cannot prosper in Jesus name. Isa 54:17.

Well said. Sometimes when I have a dream and I don`t understand I run to people instead of God, and when the people give the wrong interpretation , I feel like this dream stuff is nothing, but because of my personal experience of dreaming and having it manifest, I know now that seeking God first for the interpretations is best, even though this site has been so helpful to understanding my own dreams.

Just as she (Butterfly) we need to use the Word of God over our circumstances as oppose as looking and focusing on that circumstance without using God`s Word, and trusting God no matter how frustrating the situation is. Your brother needs intervention, spirtual intervention, and it`s God`s word saying it everyday over your brother`s life, no matter how frustrating it seems

I am sorry to hear that your mom had this dream, but it could also be a warning dream from the Lord. Have both of you ever thought of pleaing the blood of Jesus over your brother, and confessing the scriptures out loud over his life. I am just curious. You guys will be in my prayers

These are my thoughts but could it be that you have asked the Lord that you want to be his student while HE is your teacher, but you haven`t been able to respond ontime when he says due to family interruptions.

Dear Friends

I feel silly writing this but I guess I need intercessary prayer. I am scared that I am going to marry the wrong man. The reason I feel this way, two years ago I was seriously praying and fasting for God to show me the right man, and I kept seeing my ex in my dreams later he came to me. I refused him, and after I realized what I did I went to him asking him to forgive me. He was quite,and when I tried to speak to him again the conversation didn`t end up well at all.

This year, seeking God I felt Christ answered me about my future husband being him, but a few months have passed and I have heard nothing. Now I just don`t know what to do. I am afraid that I am going to marry the wrong guy especially with Aunts pushing me to getting involved with a catholic guy, b ut I am not feeling the Holy spirit connecting our hearts me and this catholic guy together, and I have gone sincerely to God about him.

Please pray for me, I want to be with that man that God has spoken in our hearts. Please believe me that I have tried to move on, but when I do I feel God placing my ex strongly in the spirit.

Is there a new business-or a new project, you could be starting with friends, but it is not time yet that is why it ( pursue) has been taken up by security (God) holding it for you because it`s not time yet. I only find one versue in the bible and I am sure there`s more but it refers to Luke 12:33

Yes there has been a time when I thought I was going in the right direction only for my protecting, and that had to do with seeking God for the right guy in my life, that was two years ago.

I didn`t want to choose God`s chose because this person hurt me, and he still has from the last time I spoke to him. So I decided to go in another direction then follow God. I have asked for forgiveness mostly from God and with the guy....lets just say he too has turn his back on Christ and everything. I don;t know I guess that probably explained me following him on the road and then turning around to the other side realizing I made that mistake. It`s a long story though. I perfer PM`s but I can`t PM any one.

So I moved from my hometown to South Africa, I will be there until the end of December. I am still seeking God for His choice for a mate

Hi I am hoping someone can help me interruperret this dream

It seems symbolic

The dream begins like this. I am watching a soccer game my home country against another country. I am in a crowd, but it wasn`t that full. Then I noticed my home country scored and so did the other but the game ends up being a tie. I walked away a little bit disappointed and remember people making fun of me that it was a tie.

Then I take off in this 1940 Ford Deluxe Black Convertable to the highway. The highway is branching into two directions and I go into the direction where I am following this guy that I know-we don`t speak anymore. I follow him, but then I am distracted five more cars appear in the other direction and these laides are calling my name. I don`t know them. They are cheering about the match and cheering about my team.

I decided to turn the car around to the other side and follow them. My convertalbe has a long silver pole infront of it, like a pole flag, and I was able to attach my country`s flag to the car and drive fast following the ladies. I also remember lots of pair of shoes in the front seat-mostly sandals and feeling happy-new relationship about to spring.

I am driving towards a high road, but slow the car down, because I see other cars ahead of me and when they go on this high road the car is out of balance. Then I just remember being home and talking to my mom explaining that there where people who ended up making fun of me.

I am writing this note and I hope I get high response. Right now I am doing work in South Africa. There is a need for men and women to work together, but my goal is to and I feel in my heart push for the agenda that men and women need each other as a team as a unit. Just as God planned.
There has been alot of agendas pushed that focus on issues that don`t celebrate men and women working together and respecting one another such as violence, etc and this is a concern for me being so young and all. I believe that the work that God has placed in my heart is for men and women to work together and build important and successful healthy relationships whether it`s marriage, or friendship in a healthy and wholeness way.
I am in the process right now of working with young men in unversity to respect their female counterparts because there has been high incidences of rape, so I hope that for the next few months while I am in Africa that the men will responsed and that God`s work will be done. I don`t work for a Christian organization but I feel that`s God`s plan men and women need each other.

If you agree or need clarification with what I have address please respond or even pray that God`s will be fulfilled.

Sometimes I recieve dreams about celbs too!!! My only thing with couples like JLo and Beyonce is that they find Christ. I have heard so much stuff and even read online the things that they do that is not Godly. Like visiting the number psychics JLo you can google that and practicing of Santaria it`s all there.
Yes God cares about us all no matter if your a celeb but when they don`t put God first there can be tremendous set backs.

Hey any help to come up with the meaning of this dream wuld be so helpful

I had a dream I was at a celebration like a party. As I was sitting down, I saw a male friend of mine, in reality we lost touch nothing bad happened, in the dream he came out of a tenth with another guy and my friend had a blue scraf over his shoulders. The guy who was with him, took the scarf from him, and gave it to me. He told me to keep it safe . I was ready to put the scarf in my purse, when a young woman across from me, tried to grab it from me. She had dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes, the eyes were not incredible or beautifull to stare at if you know what I mean. We were in a tug of war who was going to have this scarf.

I had this dream over three months ago. Could it have to do with work or my spiritual life

Hi that`s a great question to post!!!

I have come up with that issue too. I do know that someone gave me there bibilical reason for spirit spouse and husband, this is not my theory by the way, but I wanted to post it up. This person is a well known Christian he gives the explanation that in Genesis 6 1-5. The sons of God, aka the fallen angels. That would explain the issue of spirit spouse or sex in the dream, and cancelling it in Jesus name. It could be overspiritualized because the bible doesn`t mention it that they came in a dream nor anything about spirit husband- wife.

I also looked up other scriptures about spirit spouse issue in Job 2:1, Job 38:7 2 peter 2:4
The bible says they have been bound to hell paraphrasing according to 2 Peter 2:4. I believe the issue does have to do with Lust or maybe sexual sin anytime brought up in the dream
