thank you, i really need to get the fear of Satan out my head, i feel that sometimes he does have an influence over the way i think, I haven't got the gift of tongues, can anyone speak in tongues? do we have to ask god to give us the ability?

ive been wondering can Satan hear our prayers? im scared to pray out loud because if he does that means he knows where our weaknesses lie which gives him an advantage over us

Im a new christian, Ive never really read the bible i feel parts of it are to hard to understand. do you have to start reading the bible from the beginning? or can you pick and choose where you start? sorry if this sounds like and stupid question but when you read a ordinary book you normally start from the beginning
