ahh tanya im stuck... ive switched to downloads and downloaded heart brushes to my desktop.. it did not save as a zipped file so it gave me nothing to extract to so i went to C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes and i copied and pasted the heart brush file into there and the icon matched the normal gimp brushes so i went into gimp only to find they are not there in the brushes so i went back to the file double clicked on the heart brushes gimp icon and up opened gimp but only 1 heart was there as it was only 1 brush what do i do now?? how do i save it as a brush ?? and wow im rambling!!

Hi Sophie ...yep i am tanya: its weird do u have some sorrt of setting that allows your downloads to go to your desktop ?? and thats where i downloaded the sparkle brush one from but it doesnt download as a zip file or to my desktop

can i know where you get ur brushes from??? i downloaded a sparkle one from http://www.techzilo.com/gimp-brushes/ and i clicked on it and it took me to http://faeryfroggy-stock.deviantart.com/art/Sparkle-Brush-Set-11194247 i went to the side clicked download ... i had no choice where to download it to or what type of file to download it as and it saved into my downloads as a GZ file .. when i clicked on it in my downloads it said No sensible file extension, attempting to load with file magic and nothing happens :|

I understand .... I am in the same boat .. I can't seem to shake this cold.... well, you told me to go brighter, and I did tell you I have a problem with editing ... But I am happy with it ... i they are so cute!! i love the hearts around their pets tyvm That is a brush that I found ... here is Kims .... I just tried to add sparkle brushes and it didnt work it keeps saying something bout Brush pipes should have at least one brush. and Opening 'C:\Users\Paige\.gimp-2.6\brushes\SparkleBrush.gih' failed: GIMP brush (animated) plug-In could not open image i have no idea what to do its confusing for me :| it did have something bout saving it into GIMP Brushes and gradients are installed similarly – extract and drop the brushes into C:\Document and Settings\\.gimp-\brushes\ and gradients into C:\Document and Settings\\.gimp-\gradients\ i tried copying and pasting it into RUN and into search in C: but it says doesnt exist so i went into HP (which is C:) then there was no Document and Settings .. so confusing! could u help me Tanya ???

and another thing the bright red on mindy's is really bright!! it looks fine its just it is really bright hehe but i still like it!! kijo Kims is i really like this one because its soft pink in the background with the coloured hearts to match her pet and the gold looking border and name
